GARDEN A – The Textbook Garden
Started in 2019 by a busy teacher, this 1 acre garden is impressive, full of colours and landscaped for privacy with trees and natives.
Developed by the textbook!
Great inspiration if you are starting your own garden.

Establishing arboretum, flowers and food gardens developed on 5 acres in harmony with nature for 20 years.

An established 1/2 acre urban hidden gem, with theme gardens and homemade art.
Dense and mysterious, with unusual trees and plant collections: rhododendrons, hydrangeas, poppies, sages, impressive dahlias…

GARDEN D – Elegant classic garden
An iconic 3/4 acre established garden, English style featured in several media publications. Includes rhododendron collection, rare trees, espaliered hedges, vegetable beds, and tuis.

Albert Town – 1 hour visit
GARDEN E – Rural Lifestyle garden
A large exquisite country garden in a tranquil valley with stunning mountain views.
With large flower borders, vegetable beds, shrubs and interesting trees, natives, ponds and impressive viewpoint.
Gentle slope.
Maungawera – 1 hour visit
GARDEN F – Flower Farm
One acre flower farm where we’ll admire flowers like kids in a lollypop shop. And we will learn how the flower farmer does it.
If we are lucky, we can have some seeds!
Hawea Flat – 1 hour visit
GARDEN G – Urban native garden
A small urban native garden, low maintenance, with fruit growing trees.
